Pre-Licensing

Pre-Licensing

Salespersons License - two (2) 45-hour courses are required to activate a real estate license in Idaho

Module 1 - 45 classroom hours & Module 2 - 45 classroom hours:

2007 Pre-Licensing Package- Pay and take both Module 1 and 2 for $599 (including texts, outlines, and materials). Save over $100! .
The $599 pre-licensing package available only if modules 1 & 2 are purchased together from Pioneer Real Estate School.

The approximate costs for the two courses is $599.00 including texts, outlines, and materials. However, additional costs outside the classroom will be required prior to licensing including but not limited to - fingerprinting, state exam, errors and omission insurance, and licensing. There may also be additional fees including membership in a trade organization, joining multiple listing service, etc. Thus, a student could anticipate initial start up costs to approximate $2,000 including the educational requirements.

Fingerprinting
Completing initial finger printing requirements is highly recommended due to extensive processing time. Finger print cards are available at Pioneer Real Estate School.

Errors and Omissions Insurance (E &O insurance)
E & O insurance is mandatorily required by the Idaho Real Estate Commission prior to activating a real estate license.

Attendance - Required for all sessions IC 54-2022 (3)

Exam - 75 multiple choice questions; min. passing score = 70%

Course Content - Fundamental concepts of the real estate industry will be studied including but not limited to: Real Estate Business and Idaho License Law, Preparing for Real Estate Practice, Going To Work for a Broker, Different Perspectives of the Real Estate Market, Real Property and the Law, Legal Descriptions, Real Estate Interests, Forms of Ownership and How Ownership is Held, Transfering Title to Real Estate, Conveyance Documents, Limitations on Rights of Ownership-Encumbrances, Agency Relationships with Customers and Clients

Course Content - Emphasis is directed toward Real Estate Contracts, Working with a Buyer as a Client or Customer, Working with a Seller as a Client or Customer, Writing and Presenting Purchase and Sale Agreements, Closing the Transaction, Client and Customer Follow-up After Closing, Critical Thinking and Ethical Applications.

Fees
Course and text fees are due no later than the first day of the respective course. A $35 administrative fee will be charged for course cancellation or any returned NSF checks. VISA, Mastercard, and personal checks accepted. Fees and/or schedules subject to change without notice. A $50.00 credit toward future courses will be given for students bringing their own texts, materials, and outlines for pre-license or broker courses.

Refunds
100% tuition refund, minus texts, material and handouts, will be given providing written notification is received no later than 2 days prior to the course commencement date. Less than two day notice of cancellation shall result in a non-refundable $25 cancellation fee. Any withdrawal from a course will be pro-rated based on the percentage of course completion. Lack of attendance will not constitute official course withdrawal and no refund will be made. Course pricing that includes texts and materials will have the cost of such materials deducted first. Any refunds will be pro-rated and calculated on the remaining value.
