Continuing Education
Prerequisite: An Idaho real estate license

$160 package SPECIAL - 16 hours of Electives plus 4 hour Core for a total package of 20 hours -- (Save $40)

When Offered:
Once a month - 8 hour Electives are from 8am - 5 p.m., Core course. 4 hour electives times vary. Core Course – 4 hours from 8am to 12pm. Please see our Fees/Schedules page for full dates and times.
NOTE: It is recommended to pre-register well in advance to assure seating availability. See Fees/Schedule section for specific dates. Call Pioneer Real Estate School (208-377-4300) for a possible unscheduled 'back-up' class.

Attendance - 100% Required - NO EXCEPTIONS (if a student misses even a matter of minutes, CE credit cannot be given)

Exam - None for electives if 100% attendance requirement met - Challenge exam is available for the Core only - $35 for Challenge Exam

Core Course (C2008)
4 hour (8 am to Noon) - (Core 2008 through June 2009). Three subject areas including Real Estate Case Law, Legislative Changes, and Real Estate Hot Topics.

A recently approved course intended to clarify how to avoid the top trouble traps for both the novice and experienced agent. Reduce your risk through applied knowledge and clear understanding of the laws, policies and practices that govern real estate activities. Funding for development of this course has been provided by the Idaho Real Estate Commission through an award of Education Funds collect from civil penalty fine money pursuant to Idaho Code 54-2059(4).

Section 1031, Tax-Deferred Exchanges - E0121

Even the simplest of 1031 exchanges may require assistance from a qualified tax specialist or legal professional. Taught by Jesse Hamilton, Pioneer 1031 Company’s Vice-President and General Counsel, this course will help you to better address any 1031 exchange questions that may come your way in the future.

Forms 1: An Interactive Course - E0490-1107

A course that is intended to guide you toward accuracy in completing the most commonly used forms: Purchase & Sale Agreement, Buyer and Seller Rep Agreements, Addendums, Counter Offer, Compensation Agreement with Seller, and Notice to Terminate and Release of Earnest Money. You will learn to clarify your explanations of the accurate use of the forms to your clients, discuss potential conflicts that may arise when you are completing the forms, reduce your exposure to risk, and the ramifications of not completing the forms correctly.

Business Conduct & Office Operations - BC001S
4 hour elective - $40.00

Designed for brokers, sales associates, and office staff to learn procedures for trust accounting and maintaining transaction files in accordance with Idaho Real Estate License Law and Rules. You will also understand what the Idaho Real Estate Inspector may be looking for if they review your files.

Course and Text Fees
Course and text fees are due no later than the first day of the respective course. A $35 fee will be charged for any returned NSF checks. Course, text and supply fees are subject to change without notice. No refunds or returns on books and/or bookstore purchases.

Refunds
100% tuition refund, less a $50 administrative fee, is available for course cancellations requested no later than 2 business days prior to the commencement of a course for all Pioneer Real Estate courses. In order to receive a refund, writtin notification stating the reason for withdrawal must be received at Pioneer Real Estate School no later than two (2) business days prior to commencement of the respective course. Any withdrawal during a course will result in a pro-rated refund based on the percentage of the course completion and the $50 fee will apply. Lack of attendance will not constitute official course withdrawal, and no refund will be made.

Continuing Education Registration
Pre-registration is highly recommended due to course demand. Backup classes may be available, but are not guaranteed. First payments received will be guaranteed until course fills up.

Attendance
Idaho Code 54-2022(3) requires attendance at ALL course sessions for credit to secure a real estate license.
